I visited Luther Mazda to resolve a TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) issue on my Mazda CX-5, 2022 model. I paid for a full diagnosis and was told the problem was fixed, but the TPMS warning light came back on less than an hour after picking up my car. When I returned immediately, I was told I would need to pay again for the same diagnostic service, even though the issue was clearly not resolved.

Bought a pre owned car 2 months ago. Had two non-negotiable points. Chipped windshield needed to be fixed and i absolutely wouldn’t buy without a second key. They made up this promise that their window guy and their key guy would contact me about fixing these issues on my time at my home or job. They had a car priced at $15,300. I made a very reasonable offer on it. I offered what my bank would loan. Turned it down and said they would take $ 15,500. They claim that's a discount of $200 because of the dealer fees. The car business has gone to xxxx. They are just greedy and we've been dumb enough to keep buying. Prices are approximate.
Disappointed with the service. Car is making lot of noise after the service. Usually car gets lot smoother and quieter after service.

Honestly Luther Mazda has been one of the best car dealership experiences that I've had. They are quick, smooth, and reliable!
First, the rental car they gave me was extremely dirty, and had no fuel. After 3 weeks, I was finally called back to pick up my car. They didn’t do a curtesy wash for my car either, so it was also very dirty from sitting outside for 3 weeks. This is a basic service they do at every other dealership I’ve ever been to. I always get good service at this dealership. The customer service clerks that make appointments are always friendly and very knowledgeable. I like the text communications that update me on the status of my car and the video overview of the potential repair work recommended.

The service would have been a 5 star review but the technician found a few items that needed attention and I wasn't given the option to have the service done at Luther Mazda. I ended up saving money and purchasing the items outside the dealership and installing them myself.
We certainly enjoyed the staff as they are knowledgeable and helpful. We did find some damage on the rear bumper cover that should have been caught during the detailing. Also a door ding on the front passenger door. It was late in the day and we hurried through the deal so I didn’t notice it either. Hopefully Luther will make things right
This is only my second time there. Everyone is very attentive and friendly. When they found something wrong that I didn’t ask to be serviced. They gave me options and were not pushy.

Kept me informed about the progress of my car. I appreciated the courtesy car for almost three weeks. My car was very dirty on the exterior. Would have been very nice to have picked up a clean car. My car was at the dealership almost 3 months, the quality check and unnecessary money i spent is unsatisfactory. After a new engine, turbo, oil change, tire balance and rotation they misses that my driver side wheel bearing was completely shot. I. Currently at an auto shop paying $700 for an issue that should have been caught,covered by my warranty and fixed before my car was released. Luther Mazda didn't care about the safety of me or my family. Im disgusted!

My laundry list of issues with this dealership are too long to air out here. I'll just say this, if you are wanting to work with a dealership that actually cares about you during the car buying process, PLEASE do NOT go here. Oh and if you care about your check making it from the finance manger to the accounting department in order to be cashed for your down payment - they aren't good with that either.
On a Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 15th, we talked to Courtney. She sent us a video of the car and we drove to Kansas City (about 180 miles), arriving in early evening. This place is a joke. We bought our car there, took it there for every service. This last service we needed a tire patched. They told us it couldn't be patched and since it was all wheel drive, all 4 tires had to be replaced. xxxxxxxxx! We took the tire to a different tire shop and they patched it just fine. I would not even give this dealership one star. My daughter bought a used van here in June. They had it for two weeks and it started over heating. They called the dealership as it was a Monday. This is the first good experience I have had in buying a car. From the moment I arrived I was well taken care of, I felt comfortable and all the information was clearly explained. Visited this dealership for service today. Service was great and friendly. My advisor was actually visiting from Lee's Summit store. The waiting room was nice, they offer complimentary coffee and water, and have nice big TV with remote. There is even a smaller waiting room for kids with bean bags and their own TV. Though I live in Olathe I don't care for Tumminia's location and service and I'm going to return!
